Widget: Home screen check-off
there used to be a feature from the app which i really liked that showed your habits and give you the option to check them off from the home screen. i don’t know if this was removed or i’ve mistakenly turned it off. please inform me about this feature, thank you.

Widget: Ability to directly check-in on habit list widget
I would love to have a widget that shows all my daily habits and the possibility to check them when done directly in the widget.
It would allow a clear and full picture of the day with easy checking.
Cheers, Thomas

Hello Thomas!
We have the widget to show habit list. We can see the main point here is the ability to directly check-in on habits on the widget. Therefore I edited the title a little so the main idea can be highlighted better.
If it is technically supported, we will definitely do this improvement for your convenient tracking!

Widget: Possibility to tick a lot of different habits from Widget
It would be awesome to tick a lot of different habits from a single Widget. On IOS, not yet possible and Android I don’t know.

Hi!
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback on our widgets!
Currently, the widget will work as below:
You tap on a habit on the widget
The app open and a pop-up to log progress will show up so you can record your progress on the habit.
As I understand, you would like to be able to mark your habit as done on the widget for habit list, right?
This concern will have something related to our old version widget. Before:
For habits with goal as 1 time, you can mark it done directly on the widget
For habits with other goal, when you tap on the widget, the app will open for you to log a custom value to your progress on the habit.
In this latest update, we would like to streamline the experience through habits with widget. However, iOS is not supported to show the pop-up to log progress right on the homescreen without opening the app. Therefore, with the current version, it is required to open the app to check-in.
If you have any further feedback for the current flow of widget, please feel free to share. Our developers always strive their best to make the app better!

Widget: Allow to check in & log progress without opening the app
I feel like the widget opening the app when you choose to log something kinda half defeats the point. It's one step from just being the app icon as it opens anyway.
In previous apps I can manage the ml of water i wanna track in the widget and stay on my homescreen.
Just a bug bear but valid I think.

And from what I can tell, if I create a new habit that happened this morning, then check it off on the app, because it's now the afternoon, (not sure if it would previously show) it doesn't show as a checked off habit in the widget. So I guess that there isn't full list of still due and checked off habits in the widget which would be helpful to see without having to go into the app

Hi @Rich H !
To have the feature with which you can log progress value directly on the homescreen with the widget, it may require the verification for the permisson for the app to write over other apps. Our team will consider it carefully against the concern for the privacy as well.
About the issue where widget does not update the data, our team recognized the issue and have been working on the solution to it.
We will update once it is fixed on the changelog site!

Totally agree with this! If the widget just opens the app anyway when you try to log something, it really defeats the whole purpose. The main value of a widget is being able to do quick actions right from the home screen without unnecessary navigation.
It would be awesome if we could also start timers directly from the widget without launching the app. Imagine just tapping "25 min focus" or "5 min break" and boom - timer starts running while you stay on whatever screen you were on. This would save tons of time and make the app so much more convenient to use.
Hope the devs listen to this feedback - this kind of functionality would really improve the user experience significantly!
