Streak: Make streak also weekly-based and monthly-based
If I have a habit with a goal of doing it twice a week, and I manage to do it twice a week for 4 weeks, I would expect that this constitutes a 4 week streak. The current way that streaks work is only logical for every day habits.

End Date option
When you create a habit, you have an option to pick the “start date”. There should also be an option to pick an “end date”. Sometimes it is more encouraging if you know you only have a month to do this habit as opposed to forever. And some habits you only want to do for a short period of time. Then once you reach the goal, there would be a little congrats pop up 🎉 “you did it!!” and the option to continue the habit, or archive it.

UI: Option to Adjust Layout Size
I’d like to suggest adding an option to adjust the entire layout size on macOS and iOS, not just the font size. This feature would greatly enhance readability and improve the overall experience, especially for users on larger or smaller screens, depending on their device. For inspiration: https://culturedcode.com/things/blog/2023/09/things-big-and-small/

Progress: Logic to calculate daily completion rate on weekly/monthly habits
Hi, I’ve noticed that my overall metric rarely goes above 14%. I believe this is because I have several habits that are tracked monthly, and these are currently being counted in the overall daily metric. Wouldn’t it make more sense for the overall rating to reflect only the habits set on a daily basis? I’m not entirely sure how best to implement this, because if I happen to check off a few monthly habits on the same day as my daily ones, that could disproportionately inflate the metric. Maybe it would be worth considering two separate overall metrics — one for daily habits and another for the total (daily + monthly). Right now, the overall score doesn’t reflect my actual consistency in a meaningful way. Hope this suggestion makes sense Rui Correia

Progress: Graph for Areas
With the new update, the area progress stats are gone. Being able to see trends over time of habit areas is one of the few features which distinguishes habitify from other habit apps. I could easily see which areas of my life need improvement like health, work, self-development etc. Now you can't see the trends anymore. It was a great feature, please bring it back

Note: A tab to view all Memos and Mood Logs in a chronological list
I would like a dedicated view to see all my reflections in one place. This would make Habitify the ultimate tool for both habit tracking and daily journaling. Proposed Location: A new "Journal" tab in the bottom navigation bar (or a dedicated section within the "Progress" tab). Information to Display: Date and time of the entry. The name of the linked habit. Full text of the Memo. Mood icons and any attached Tags or Images. Search and Filters: Filter by specific habits (e.g., see only "Strength Training" notes). Filter by time period (Weekly/Monthly view). Search function to find specific keywords within memos.

Area: Assign a habit to more than 1 areas
Currently, a habit can be included in 1 area only. However, in real life, it may be more complicated. For example, the habit of reading” can be included in both 2 areas of “Self-development” and “Relaxation”.

Check-in: Making completing habits more satisfying
For me, it’s not quite exciting to finish a habit. Yes there is a nice sound, but I think there is missing a better transitioning animation of the completion of the habit. Or maybe even a bit of confetti would do it.

Log Progress: Reduce Friction When Exceeding Weekly Habit Targets
Habit building is based on discovering real capacity through practice. Users often start with a low weekly target, then realize they can perform the habit more times within the same week. Current problem: For weekly habits, once the target count is reached, the habit is treated as completed. Adding additional repetitions becomes difficult and requires manual numeric input, even though exceeding the target is intentional and positive. This creates unnecessary friction when: a habit is still in the building stage, or the user performs the habit more times than planned in a given week. Request: Allow users to continue logging repetitions after reaching the weekly target using the same quick interaction (e.g., +1), without switching to keyboard input or a different flow. This change supports gradual, experience-based habit building without changing existing default behavior. Summary: Keep weekly habits active after the target is reached. Allow quick (+1) logging beyond the weekly target without restriction. Remove the requirement for keyboard-only numeric input when exceeding the target.

Notification: Get reminded for habits that have no progress recently.
This feature could give gentle reminders for habits that have been slipping through the cracks, motivating users to jump back in or reevaluate their approach to those habits. This could be a great way to provide that extra push to keep users focused on their goals and mindful of any habits they’re unintentionally neglecting.

Widget: Allow to check in & log progress without opening the app
I feel like the widget opening the app when you choose to log something kinda half defeats the point. It's one step from just being the app icon as it opens anyway. In previous apps I can manage the ml of water i wanna track in the widget and stay on my homescreen. Just a bug bear but valid I think.

Task: Repeat the tasks inside the habit
I have found the habit tasks function so helpful. But if I wanted to use it to break down my habits into smaller chunks, I have to input these new tasks every single time. Once they are checked off, they don’t “uncheck” themselves next time the habit occurs - they disappear. Can we create habit tasks that will uncheck or be made new when a habit recurs? I still want the ability to have one-off tasks, but maybe a function like “pin task” or some other way of labelling them can differentiate these two functions.
