Progress: Skipping habit has no impact on success rate
I just wish I could skip a habit but not have it negatively impact my overall success percentage, or start my count over. If I’m sick, for example, and skip a workout, then my workout count resets. I hope that makes sense.
Thank you!

Totally agree with this! The “Skip” feature would be much more useful if it worked as a true neutral action — something that says “this day doesn’t count” rather than “you failed.” Life happens: travel, illness, planned rest days. These shouldn’t penalize your streak or drag down your success rate. Right now, skipping feels almost as bad as just not logging anything at all, which defeats the purpose of having a dedicated Skip option. A clean solution could be to simply exclude skipped entries from the success rate calculation entirely — so only days where you were actually supposed to do the habit (and did or didn’t) are counted. Hope the team picks this up — it would make the stats much more meaningful and motivating.

Progress: Skipping a habit should not reduce avg completion rate
Skipping a habit should not reduce the avg completion rate. A skip is a deliberate action, not a failure (there’s already an option for that!)
When a user chooses to skip, it means the habit was intentionally not scheduled for that day. Counting it as part of the avg. calculation lowers the score in a way that does not reflect real performance and reduces motivation.
Skipped days should be omitted so the avg completion rate only measures days where the habit was actually intended to be completed.

Wholeheartedly agree – not having this goes against the point of “Skip” as an option.
