Weighted Habit Completion Percentage

The overall completion percentage should support habit weightage, instead of treating every habit as having the same impact on the daily progress score.

Currently, completing a small habit and completing a major habit would contribute equally to the overall percentage. It would be more meaningful if each habit could have a weight that represents its importance or impact.

For example:

  • Learning / Study → High weight

  • Exercise → Medium-high weight

  • Reading → Medium weight

  • Foot care → Low weight

The overall progress percentage should then be calculated based on these weights.

For example, if I have:

HabitWeightCompleted

Learning

50

Exercise

30

Foot care

5

The completion percentage should reflect the weighted contribution, rather than simply calculating 2 / 3 = 66.7%.

Expected behavior

Each habit should have a configurable weight/importance value.

The overall daily, weekly, and monthly completion percentages should use these weights when calculating progress.

This would make the progress meter much more representative of how well I actually completed my important habits, rather than treating every habit as equally significant.
