Goal: Different goals for different day of week or time of day
I don’t have the same time for my habit everyday. I study 2 hours on weekends but only have 1 hour on weekdays.
I’d like to study for 2 hours in the morning and 1 in the evening. It’ll only show 3 total hours in both.
I’d like to track the same habit and have the right streak so I can’t separate them to different ones.
I think adding tags and tag filter for the stats (progress) could help too.

The examples presented in both posts have helped me recognize the differences between them.
This post focuses on the concept of assigning different goals to the same habit.
For instance, let’s consider my desire to cultivate a habit of reading to enhance my knowledge in my profession, which I’ll refer to as "Career Growth."
The reality is that the time I can dedicate to this habit varies significantly between weekdays and weekends due to my full-time job. On weekdays, I might only be able to spend about one hour on this habit, whereas on weekends, I could allocate up to four hours each day.
Our concern is that the app does not seem to accommodate such variations in usage for individuals who work full-time yet wish to invest more time in a particular habit during the weekends. I believe incorporating this flexibility would greatly benefit users like us.

Hi Sagar! Thanks for your sharing.Hi Sagar! Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
I reviewed Mark's post again, and my understanding is that he is suggesting a method of gradually achieving an overall daily goal throughout the day. For example, if the goal is "2 times per day," you could complete one in the morning and one in the evening. Once you complete the morning task, you can temporarily mark that habit as done. When evening comes, the task can be marked as undone again for the evening check-in. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
This idea is somewhat similar to the post that mentions, “I’d like to study for 2 hours in the morning and 1 hour in the evening. It’ll only show a total of 3 hours.” This is why I merged the two posts—so we can focus on highlighting this idea to the team.
Please share any additional thoughts you may have!
