Widget: Have the button to check-in on Today's Habits Widgets
I would really love just a little check mark next to each one to easily check it off from the widget. I also would love the option to scroll, for example, I have my step by step Morning and evening self care as separate ‘areas’ and the list is longer than can fit in the largest widget on my ipad.

Can this please be implemented? I’m currently exploring other habit trackers because of the need to open the app to log. This is such a point of friction and one habit is not enough. Further, for the current version of this widget, we don’t have need the All Habits at the top. We would benefit more from using that space to hold a fourth habit.

I agree, and I would like a widget that has the check boxes per day, or if the habit is a ‘# times (or amount of time goal) per day/week/month, to have the wheel with the percentage colored in like the main screen.

Feature Request: A Proper Tasks Widget with Multi Check-in Support
Hello Habitify Team,
I’d like to submit feedback regarding one of the biggest missing features in Habitify.
It’s disappointing that there is still no proper home screen widget that displays my tasks and lets me check them off directly without opening the app. The current widget only supports checking off a single task, which is extremely limited and doesn’t reflect how people actually use habit trackers.
In 2026, this feels very outdated. Even simple apps built by individuals using platforms like Replit often provide widgets that display multiple tasks with one-tap check-ins. It’s surprising that Habitify, as a dedicated habit-tracking app, still lacks this basic functionality.
A proper widget should:
Display multiple habits/tasks at once.
Allow checking them off directly from the home screen.
Update instantly without requiring the app to be opened.
Offer different widget sizes so users can choose how many tasks to display.
For many users, the home screen widget is one of the most important parts of a habit app. Having to open the app every time adds unnecessary friction and makes it less likely that habits will be tracked consistently.
I hope you’ll consider making this a priority, as it would significantly improve the overall user experience.
Thank you.

Hello @Ahmad !
Thanks for keeping it real with us!
I completely hear you, and to be honest, you make some incredibly fair points.
I’d love to pull back the curtain a bit and share why our widgets are currently set up this way, the technical hurdles we're dealing with, and where we want to take things next.
Unlike a standard to-do list app where tasks are just "done" or "not done," habits are a bit more complex to track. Some of our users have simple habits (like taking a daily vitamin), but many others track habits with specific goals and units—like running 5 km, reading for 2 hours, or staying under 500 kcal. Each check-in requires logging a specific, custom value rather than just a simple tap.
To keep the user experience consistent for all habit types, we unified the widget behavior. Tapping a habit on the widget instantly opens the app and brings up a quick-log pop-up window so you can input your precise progress.
We absolutely hate any unnecessary friction just as much as you do! We are actively looking into how we can redesign our widgets to support instant, one-tap check-ins for simple habits while still keeping the detailed tracking intact for others.
Thank you again for pushing us to make Habitify better. It’s feedback like this that keeps us on our toes and helps us figure out what to prioritize next!

Revamped Widgets: Restore old logging feature in list widgets
While I really like the new statistics widgets and the tighter layout of the new list widgets I miss the old list widgets where each habit had a button to complete it. They worked really well and were a quick an easy way to log habits.
This way I could see at a glance which habits were still due for today (or the week) and could log them on the go. While I like that the new small logging widgets also have a secondary action it’s very tedious to create one of them for each habit I have. So maybe there is a way to combine all of this in to the list widget
Best regards

Hello @Linus !
Thanks so much for your thoughtful feedback!
We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying the new statistics widgets and the tighter layout of the list widgets. Your point about missing the old habit list buttons for quick check-ins is completely understandable.
To fit more habits on the screen, we made each habit take up less space, which meant the old quick-complete button didn’t fit as well anymore. So, we updated the check-in process: now when you tap a habit, a pop-up appears for easy progress logging. This change applies to all habits to keep your experience smooth and consistent throughout the app.
We hear you though — being able to see which habits are still due and quickly logging them at a glance is really important. Creating individual small logging widgets for each habit can definitely feel tedious, and combining that ease with the compact list is something we’ll keep exploring.
Your feedback helps us prioritize improvements, and we’ll continue working on making habit tracking as fast and intuitive as possible. Please keep sharing your ideas anytime — we truly appreciate it!
