Challenge: Ability to Create & Join a Challenge

It would be amazing if Habitify added a “Join a Challenge” feature — where users can take part in community or personal challenges like “7 days of journaling” or “30 days of no sugar.” Challenges help keep motivation high, add a sense of friendly competition, and make habit-building more exciting. It could even allow users to create their own challenges and invite friends to join!

    Gamification

Gamification – Adding small challenges, streak competitions, or achievement badges would make progress more fun.

      XP Gamifiy Design

I wish, there should be an XP Gamifiy function for completed tasks. Example: ,,I read a book each day.” And it should be give 1XP or 100XP. This feature should be revealed. ❤️🤗

        Hi @enes752 / Science of Kingdom / !

Thank you so much for sharing your intriguing suggestion with us! We truly believe that it has the potential to add an extra layer of excitement, motivation, and friendly competition to our habit tracking progress. However, we wanted to kindly mention that Habitify's concept of habit tracking is centered around simplicity and gradual self-improvement over time. Therefore, we may need some time to carefully consider how your idea could fit into our approach. Nevertheless, we are incredibly grateful for your contribution and will definitely keep it in mind. Thank you again!

i disagree. Habatica has that and I hated it. Overcomplicated things. I like that this app is simple. It makes it good for sustainable long term use and a tool that helps rather than another distraction and time-suck

    Challenge: Restore Challenge feature

I was a loyal user of Habitify for about five years. I had hatched numerous eggs, finished at least a hundred egg quests and happily interacted with other users in challenges that kept me coming back to the app. When all of the Guilds and the Tavern disappeared I lost most of my interest, as apparently did most of your client base. But when I came back this week, all of my critters were gone. Poof! Not a trace of them, nor was I notified the feature was going away.

I looked over the app and can find nothing of interest to me. It’s boring - just another same old, same old app with nothing to recommend it other than perhaps a few different icons (whoopee?)

I’m mourning my avatar, her wardrobe and stables full of critters. All gone to cyber heaven. Shame on you to do away with these without giving users a chance to at least take screen shots.

      Hi!

We are working on a new version of Challenge. It’ll soon be back as a feature within Circle!

    Hi @Moin Scout !

Hello! Thank you for this suggestion.

We actually did have a "Challenge" feature in the past, but it was retired so we could focus all of our development resources on its more powerful and flexible successor: the Circle feature.

The great news is that you'll soon be able to create the personal challenges you mentioned. In our upcoming version 28.0, we are releasing an "End Condition" for habits. This will allow you to set a goal like "30 days of no sugar," and the habit will automatically end after that period, giving you that great sense of completion.

Your idea of public or community challenges is brilliant. We have noted this and will encourage our team to consider bringing back "Challenges" as a special, time-bound event that can happen within a Circle in the future.

Thank you again for this wonderful feedback!
