Theme: Seperate Dark mode configuration in app
Would be nice if it was available. There is also the option to automatically switch to it following system configuration.

Hey Alan! Thanks for the feedback. I often receive the same suggestions so I will highlight this for the team to consider

Hi Thư,
Thanks for considering my suggestion! I just bought the lifetime plan this week and plan to use Habitify a lot, so whenever I spot ways to improve it, I’ll pass them along to you and the team.

Hi Jaime!
Thank you for your suggestion. Actually, the mode of in-app theme now follows the theme mode of your device. So, correct me if I'm wrong, you may want a separate button in the app to control the mode, right? I just adjust the title.

Oh yes, the bug was in the automatic theme mode change of my device, not of the app. You're absolutely right. Likewise, it would be nice to have the settings visible within the app. It could clear up doubts for people like me and also is a workaround. Thanks you!

I also hope for auto toggl of light and dark theme. My entire system automatically switches, except for Habitify! (This is on the web app installed as an app through the browser.)

Hi! If you use the website app, both with your browser or as an installed native app, you can configure the theme separately:
On the side bar of the website app > choose App Settings
Go to General section
In Theme, choose Dark or Light as you wish.

Hello,
This is not what I wrote. I am looking for an automatic switch of the theme. I want Habitify to automatically switch from light to dark mode and vice versa, depending on the mode of my system.
Also, I cannot find a native app for Windows. What do you mean by this?

Hi Benjamin!
I got your point. I just want to clarify how you switch the website app’s theme while your idea is suggested and considered to the team 😊.
We don’t release the official version for the windows app yet, but it is in progress, so keep update in our change logs to get the notification as soon as it is out.

Happy to help, Ben!
Can I ask you one more question? You said you use the website app as an installed app through browser. Can I ask on which platform or device you apply this way of using the app? I mean, you install the web app as an homescreen app on your phone or your laptop?

Of course. I use the Chrome feature that allows a website to be installed as though it were an application. It simply gives me this option, and then it appears in a separate window that I can pin to the windows taskbar on desktop. But I think it is just chrome’s way of displaying a website as though it were a separate program, though I am not sure how it works.

We make the theme settings of the app follow the device's settings, to ensure the smooth experience between Habitify and the overall usage through the phone.
Still we appreciate your suggestion. We got another suggestion for the same idea, so we will merge the two together. It can helps highlighting the post better!

Android: in‑app theme toggle
In‑app theme toggle (Light / Dark / System) so that the app is not restricted to the system theme.
