Hi Minh,
I've raised this previously and received a response suggesting the daily block view is more suitable (which I completely agree with for most users). I'm not asking to change that. I'm asking for an additional option, and I'd really appreciate it if this could please be discussed with the team before being dismissed.
The request: a Progress Chain / grid widget where each block represents a weekly completion (rather than a daily one), for habits that are completed per week.
Right now, if I use the grid widget for a weekly habit, it shows 1 filled block and 6 gray "failed" blocks, even if I've been perfectly consistent. That's discouraging rather than motivating, and it means the grid widget (one of Habitify's nicest features for motivating habits!) is essentially unusable for weekly habits.
I also want to gently note that a weekly-based streak widget was previously suggested as an alternative in an earlier response, but that option was never built either. So weekly habit users currently have no visual consistency tool at all. That being said, the colored grid view is much more motivating and it does not reset after a single miss, so this option specifically would be preferable.
Thank you so much for your time and for building such a great app.
