Website app: Option to Hide/Collapse the Left Sidebar on Web Version
Hello, it would be useful to have an option to hide the left sidebar or let it able to collapse for the icon is displayed only. This feature would offer users a more focused workspace when needed.

Hey Alan! Thanks for your suggestion. However, I noticed that the macOS app only allows adjustments to the sidebar, not to hide it. Also, I think it would be better if the sidebar could be collapsed to display just the icons for each section in the menu. What do you think about this idea?

Your idea about displaying only the icons is interesting; I hadn’t thought of that! It could be helpful for users with smaller screens.
I believe the macOS app already has the option to hide the sidebar, and the current setup works well. The adjustment would only be needed for the web version, where the sidebar is currently fixed.

Ok, then I will adjust the post slightly.
Additionally, for a sneak peek, we are planning a new version of the desktop app for both Windows and macOS. The new desktop app will synchronize its UI and UX with the web app. This is aimed at providing a seamless experience across platforms, as well as facilitating the future development of Habitiy for use on laptops and PCs.

Hi!
I have a similar request but for the macbook version. RIght now we have to move the mouse to toggle the sidebar on and off. 99% of the time I keep it off so even the past few days I had to manually move my mouse to toggle it off.
I would love there to be a simple keyboard shortcut instead(Things 3 uses command /). If it is too much work, is it possible ot put it in the menu bar like “create new area”? I ask this because if you can, then I can use Apple Shortcuts to put the shortcut on the menu item myself!
