Timer: Alert when a session ends, and ability to restart the current session in Pomodoro

Hi, when I use the pomodoro timer, it does not ding when my session is over, and just goes straight into the break. I also want to be able to start the timer for a new pomodoro when I come back from my break, instead of it being started automatically (quite often your breaks go longer than intended, and when I get back my next session has already started and I cannot restart that session - so I end up timing the lost time myself and then starting the timer again).
