NFC Integration: Ability to configure scanning NFC as the only completion option

I really like habits that are completed automatically instead of having to be checked off manually, for example sleep duration synced via the Health app. Because of that, I would love to see an option where certain habits can only be completed or unlocked via NFC. This would make habits feel more intentional, reduce manual interaction, and help enforce real-world actions rather than simple taps in the app.

    Hi @Timon !

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

Actually, you can scan NFC and mark a habit as completed already. So I wonder if there is any difference between how it works and how you want it to work. COuld you please share more about this idea of yours, or your feedback of how it is working now? So we can make sure we understand your points and lead the app to the right way of development.

I would like to have the option to make certain habits more strongly dependent on NFC scanning, so that it’s not so easy to conveniently check them off via the phone. Instead, I want to force myself to visit specific places in my apartment or other locations. Of course, it would make sense to still allow manual check-ins in the app as a fallback, but not as easily as it is now.

Got the idea. You want to flexibly set the NFC scanning as the only way to mark your habit as completed or not, right.

I note this for the team. When we have a plan for further NFC integration improvement, I will definitely highlight it again to the developers.
