Notification: suggest increasing or decreasing the habit metric
I use an app in conjunction with Habitify called Streaks because of a specific function:
When you fail to reach a habit with a certain sequence, it asks if you don't want to decrease the chosen metric to be able to complete it. In the same way, it works for habits that you can achieve with a certain frequency: it suggests increasing.
The suggestion message to increase or decrease comes automatically and you don't have control over how many times to reach or not reach the habit. The metric that changes is usually small as for example in a 30 Minute reading it suggests decreasing or increasing 1 Minute. The suggestion repeats unlimitedly in the same habit, but it takes a while to appear. It's about the frequency of completion or not.
Is it possible to have something similar in our app architecture or would it be something very complex?

Hello Caique!
Thank you for your suggestion. In my opinion, this is an interesting idea - it’s a thoughtful way to adjust goals dynamically based on progress, making habits feel both manageable and motivating.
This kind of feature would require a combination of habit tracking, progress analysis, and automated suggestions. Integrating it into our app could be complex, but it’s certainly feasible with careful planning and design.
We’re constantly looking for ways to improve Habitify, so I’ll make sure to share your feedback with our development team. If similar options become available, we’ll definitely keep you updated!
Thanks again for helping us make Habitify even better for everyone! 😊
