Integration with Health Connect (Android)

so that health data can be sync with various platform (Google fit, samsung health, hydratation app etc).
Hydratation task template could get hydratation that way. Same for exercising etc…
Currently I don't see the automatic log in of data when doing a workout or recording hydratation in google fit etc.

Hello @Tony Dau ! Good news! We tried and succeeded bringing back the integration between Habitify and Health Connect. It is coming with a new version. You may check the Play Store and download it in the next few days!

Unfortunately, we attempted for this integration once but had to remove it by the requirement of Google.
The team is finding the alternatives now.

Bummer for the Health Connect as Google is phasing out Google Fit and encouraging more and more companies to use Health Connect instead to exchange health metric between platform. Not sure why Google would tell you not to do it?
BTW: This is an iOS focused app… even the app thing I have an Apple ID in Setting → Account despite being on Android and not having any Apple ID 🤔😉

According to the current policy on Access to & Use of Health Connect by Google: “
you may only request access to permissions when your application or service meets one of the approved use cases.
Approved use cases include: fitness and wellness, rewards, fitness coaching, corporate wellness, medical care, health research, and games. Applications granted access to these use cases may not extend its use to undisclosed or non-permitted purposes… .”
The apps that are granted to the integration are mostly fitness app, coaching app and medical care app. Meanwhile, Habitify is detected as just a habit tracker app.

As Health connect sync is no longer possible ???
Can you urgently integrate with Samsung Health instead…
hopefuly this app is not an iOS apple focus app only?.
