Sorting Habit: Habits not showing in order
Habits are not showing in order in the “current time of day”. Only if I click “all habits”, my habits are showing in order.
Please fix this immediately because this is the most basic function of the app - to show habits in our own order.

But Habitify has become bloated in the last 5 years and is no longer the simple app I used to love. The Done button on the far right is too far away when using on a big computer screen, it was so much better when the done check button was on the left side, back in the day — checklists are always like that, with a checkbox on the left.
Also, Being forced to use Custom Habitify habit icons are completely unnecessary and even distracting. If users wanted an icon, they can just put an emoji along with the habit name. Far more choices in emojis than maintaining custom Habitify icons.
Also, on the mobile screen, I can only see like 2 or 3 habits before I have to scroll. It was much more compact and crisp back in the day, much less visual clutter.

Thank you for your response updating the status of the sorting issue on your end, and for your detailed feedback on the website app.
I understand the frustration when you have to take several steps to just take an action like completing a habit or choosing a icon that you don't even need. I will note this for the team as a improvement suggestion.
Still, I just want provide some information
You may be using the List layout on the website app. For the more convenient way to check in, you can right click the habit and choose the option from the action menu.
About the habit icon, logically, the app should suggest an icon based on the name of your habit, without you spending time scrolling through the icon list.

PinnedHello! I checked with the team about the issue with sorting habits on website/desktop app. It turns out that currently on website/desktop app, the habit order in each Time of Day follows the habit order you set in Habits > Active list.

Meanwhile, I see the issue with the web/desktop app, and have been working with the dev team on it.

This was exactly what I needed to find! I thought the app had some kind of bug and I was almost ready to give up. Thankfully, I found this comment and managed to fix the issue by following the instructions.
Today, I set the same sorting order in three different places: the All Habits list, the Areas list, and the Time of Day list. Now everything is working exactly as expected on my end.
I’m really enjoying using the app!

Please don't break the most important and basic things which have been working fine for years, while trying to deliver new features which are nothing but gimmicks and even creating noise and excitement about the gimmicks.
You have already completely and absolutely ruined the UI/UX which was much better 5 years ago.
