Habit stacking: triggers notification even if habit in notification was already completed

Device: Samsung Galaxy s25+

Let’s say I have a habit “wake up at 7 am” and habit “do stretches”. I created habit stacking so “do stretches” notifies me immedietaly after I complete “wake up at 7 am”.

If I mark “do stretches” as completed, and then mark “wake up at 7 am” as completed, then I sitll get notification for “do stretches” even though it’s completed. I believe the notification should not appear then, because it serve no purpose.

    Hi Grzegorz — thanks for the clear example. You’re right: if the stacked habit is already done for the day, that stacking notification shouldn’t fire. We’ve logged this with the Android team and will update here when we have a fix.
