Hi everyone,
I’d like to strongly suggest a feature for Happify.
Please consider adding the ability to assign a custom weight (priority number) to each habit — within every individual area.
This is very important:
The weight system should exist separately inside each area, not across all areas combined (not under overall “All Happiness,” but inside each specific area).
For example, within one area, we could assign numbers like:
• 2.5
• 3
• 9
• 10
Then habits in that area would automatically sort from highest to lowest priority.
Why this matters:
When an area contains many habits, the current alphabetical or fixed order feels random. I often start completing habits from the top. I spend time and energy finishing several of them, and only later realize that a truly critical habit was near the bottom of the list.
By then, my daily energy is already drained.
If each area allowed weighted priority sorting:
• The most important habits in that area would be immediately visible
• We could focus our limited energy on what matters most
• It would reduce decision fatigue
• It would create a more strategic and intentional workflow
When an area grows large, we need a clear way to know which habits are essential and which are secondary.
I believe this feature would significantly improve clarity and effectiveness for users who manage many habits per area.
Thanks for considering this.
