Habit Goal: Custom Increment Counter for Non-Binary Habits

One feature idea:

Right now, most habits seem to work as a daily yes/no check-in, but some habits are more random throughout the day and would work better with a custom counter.

For example:

- staying calm

- maintaining a positive mindset

- not getting angry

These aren’t things you only track once per day. Sometimes I want to quickly record each successful moment when I notice it happening.

It would be great if users could create habits with a customizable numeric counter (like +1 each time), instead of only daily completion tracking. Then at the end of the day, users could see how many times they recorded that habit.

    Hi!

I have some suggestion of how you can set it up:

    1. Create a new habit (or edit an existing one).

    2. Scroll down to the Goal section.

    3. Change the goal type from a regular check-off to an Amount.

    4. Set your unit to something like "times" or "moments" and choose a daily target number (for example, 5 times a day).

Once this is set up, your habit will act like a counter. Every time you notice yourself staying calm or being positive, you can simply tap the habit in your list, and it will log "+1" to your daily total. At the end of the day, you will be able to see exactly how many times you recorded that positive action!
