Enhanced Metric Tracking and Aggregation

I'd love to see Habitfy enhanced with customizable metrics (e.g., distance, time, reps) for each habit, allowing users to define targets for these metrics and log specific values. Crucially, the app should then aggregate this data, visualizing progress over time, comparing it to targets, and highlighting streaks. For example, I want to track my runs by distance (km), set a weekly target, log my runs, and see my weekly total, a distance graph, and my longest running streak. This would significantly improve the app's value for serious progress tracking.

    Hi @Tharun Reddy Rachamalla !

Thank you so much for sharing your point of view on tracking progress of habits.

As I can brief from your post, there are the main points as the following:

    • extend the customisation on the unit to measure habit goals

    • visualize progress overtime, not just daily but also weekly and monthly

    • highlight the best streaks.

Actually you can find it in the app already.

    • In the creation of a new habits, if you are using an iOS device, you can choose to create a custom habit and access a wide range of unit for the habit goals. However, the customization is limited: you can change the unit to the one with same type (like from miles to km, or from minutes to hours). That can help generating the chart to track progress of all time.

    • When you tap on each habit to open its single progress view, and go down to the bottom of the view, you can see a trending chart. The trending chart can view by day, week, or month. You also get an AVG value of each day/week/month and compare to the initial value in goal.

    • Also in the single progress view of a habit, you can see the best 7 streaks you got in doing your habits.

Is there anything else that you think it needs improvement? Or if there is anything we mistook, please feel free to share!

Hello @Minh Thư , thanks for the reply, I can see the change, I am good with the running habit. But for reading habit I want a custom one, instead of minutes I track my reading by pages, like 10 pages everyday.
