Hi everyone,
I’ve been using Habitify for a while now and it’s genuinely the best habit tracker I’ve tried. But there’s one thing I keep coming back to as a missing piece — a widget that shows my overall daily completion rate as a single percentage.
Right now, the available widgets show individual habits or streaks. That’s useful, but what I really want is a at-a-glance answer to one simple question: “How am I doing today overall?” — not per habit, but as a cumulative score across all habits scheduled for today.
What I’m imagining:
• A compact widget (small/medium size on iPhone, complication on Apple Watch) that displays something like “Today: 67%” or a circular progress ring filling up as habits are completed
• It updates in real time as you check off habits throughout the day
• Optionally: color coding — red below 50%, yellow 50–79%, green 80%+
• On Apple Watch: a complication that shows the ring and percentage at a glance on the watch face, without opening the app
Why it matters:
Right now I have to open the app to understand where I stand for the day. A single percentage on my home screen or watch face would be a powerful motivational nudge — you see you’re at 40% at 6pm and it pushes you to finish what’s left. It turns Habitify into a live scoreboard for your day.
This kind of aggregate metric is common in productivity apps (completion dashboards, daily scores), but I haven’t seen it executed well as a lightweight widget. Habitify would be the perfect place for it.
Would love to know if others feel the same way, and whether this is something the team has considered.
