Checklist: To be possible to edit/ reorder

Checklist is very convincing when you want to set clear actions to complete a habit. However it's now impossible to reorder, or edit a task in checklist. As a result whenever I want to change even 1 item, I need to rebuild the whole list which is very demotivating. It would be great if to make it more flexible here.
