Goal: Wide range of unit selections

Feature Request

A (much) “needed”-function:

Please add so when one creates a new task (NOT using a template), you can choose which ever unit you want. (Minutes, grams ect). Having to open every template to maybe find the one you need is very time consuming.

It has kind bugged from the start that it was missing :/

A “good to have”-function is also to be able to change unit when the task is created so you don't need to create a new one if you change you mind on which unit to use.

    Hi Roxanne! Thanks for your feedback.

    Currently, we have implemented a wider range of units on the iOS app, and we are following the feedback to improve it more before implementing the unit collection widely on all platforms.

    Regarding the ability to edit the unit, there is one thing we would like to note for you. You can change the unit to another one as long as both are in the same category of unit type. For example, you can change from minute to hour since both are duration units, but you cannot change from minute to kilometer. That can ensure a seamless data report on the progress of your habit (you cannot put data in different types of units within the same chart and the same index in a report, right?).

      I have an android phone so I do not have that upgrade. It would be great if it can be added for android as well. Currently, when i want to create my own habit, I can only select between minutes and times as units (see image at bottom of post)

      For my additional request, completely understand your point in the collection of the data and how that could become messy. Better to create new habit instead 😊

      An unrelated question: has anyone posted about a search function for the habits ikons? So happy that there are so many to choose from now but takes forever find/choose ikon. Like a needle in a haystack 😄
