Habit Goal: Allow custom inputs for goals such as calories consumed and steps

For calories consumed and steps, the only inputs currently available are predetermined options. For example, for calories consumed, you can only select calorie goals in 500 increments so for someone whose calorie goal in 1,750 calories. They either have to pick 1,500 or 2,000, neither of which is accurate. We should be able to specify exactly what we want our goal to be.

Hi! you now can log any goal value.

In the goal screen, tap the 3-dot button in top right corner and choose exact value.

This is now available on iOS app, and is coming in Android app version 48.2.0.

    Hope you guys like it!

Goal: Allow for manual value input without limitation

Right now time-based habits have to be logged in real life via timer. That makes it difficult when I want to track time elsewhere or I forgot to start tracking.

Right now the “x times” mode is limited to 100, meaning we have to resort to tracking only 100 minutes of something or contantly recalculate increments (for example “1 time” equals 5 minutes)

      Hi!

For time-based habits, you don't need to use the timer to log your habits. You can swipe it right and choose Log Progress, then log any value of your achievement.

So for this request, I would like to change the title to highlight your request for unlimited value for goal setting. I think it's considerable, too!

Indeed, the capacity to generate unlimited value is a primary reason for my limited engagement with Habitify. Consequently, I continue to utilize Loop Habit Tracker. I kindly request that you consider developing this feature.

    Hi!

Thank you for sharing with us your suggestion.

It is true that on mobile app version for iOS and Android, the goal is set with a value picker that is limited to specific values. Your idea can a considerable improvement to it. We definitely note it for the team.

Meanwhile, you may try the version for website and desktop app where you can freely set any value you want.
