Habit Settings: Add Tags to Habits
The ability to add tags to habits would be a valuable improvement.
Tags (e.g., health, productivity, fitness, study) could help group and organize habits.
This would also make it easier to filter, search, and track progress across categories.
Example: For a habit like “Study 1 hour”, tags such as Physics or Math could be added depending on the module. This way, tracking can cover not only the overall study habit but also the specific subjects.
This feature would make habit tracking more organized, flexible, and tailored to personal needs.

Habit Settings: Attribute-Based Tags (Not Categories)
Add an attribute-based Tag system that attaches multiple characteristics to a single habit such as energy level, context, priority, environment, or trigger.
Unlike Areas, which classify habits into one category only, Tags act as habit attributes, not containers. They describe how the habit behaves, when it fits, or what conditions it relates to.
This makes it possible to filter habits by attributes like:
• “Low Energy”
• “Evening Routine”
• “High Priority”
• “Travel Mode”
• “Trigger: Coffee”
Areas organize habits by place, while Tags organize habits by properties, giving a much more flexible and multi-dimensional way to view and manage habits.

Hi @FrAnKy Hwiki !
Thank you for sharing your idea. We highly appreciate your contribution to the development of Habitify 😊.
Currently we have the Area feature which can help you to categorize your habits. Though for now it is only possible to assign 1 habit to 1 area, we are considering to improve the feature so 1 habit can assign to multiple areas. We do hope this update is helpful!
