Task: Repeat the tasks inside the habit

I have found the habit tasks function so helpful. But if I wanted to use it to break down my habits into smaller chunks, I have to input these new tasks every single time. Once they are checked off, they don’t “uncheck” themselves next time the habit occurs - they disappear.

Can we create habit tasks that will uncheck or be made new when a habit recurs? I still want the ability to have one-off tasks, but maybe a function like “pin task” or some other way of labelling them can differentiate these two functions.

I was waiting so long for them to finally add the sub-tasks, but it is crazy that they didn't think of that they need to uncheck themselves. An habit is something that is reoccurring, so ofcourse the steps in the habit is as well 😅

Great that you posted this! Hope they add this feature asap 🤩

Absolutely. I started using Habitify as it is both iOS and Android friendly. Thinking of going back to a different app because it let me have recurring subtasks as a checklist, was really helpful around cleaning tasks, skincare and taking medications

    Hi!

A new checklist has been added to the Habitify iOS version.

    For this new checklist:

    • Add the tasks in the habit's settings

    • Task is repetitive, and auto-refreshed with the goal

    • Progress of the checklist can be followed directly on the Journal view with the list.

    • Marking all tasks done prompts you to a button to mark your habit as completed as well.

Get it on the App Store now!

    Android version is coming soon!

Hi checklist is already available on Android app version. We once announced the update here:

        https://feedback.habitify.me/changelog/more-calendar-integrations-nfc-and-checlist-for-android-app.

Please update the latest version. You can add the checklist in the detailed settings of your habit.

Please note that you should use the Journal layout where habit icon is visible to see the checklist on the Journal view.

          Hi Thư,

For Checklist is there any way the to-do list can show in the Journal as a subset under main habit?
          Thanks

            Hi!

Checklist is shown this way on the Journal view. You can tap on the number to see a pop-up for the details of checklist

Do you want it to be designed inline on the Journal view, under the habit?

              Hi Thư,

Yes, it will be faster and better than tapping into a popup and sometime avoid miss click.

After that If i check all the checklist, can it auto done that habit?

              Thanks

Once you complete all the items in checklist, there will be a button prompted to you to mark the habit as done.

For the suggestion to the design of checklist on the Journal view, we recommend you to add a feature suggestion post for it!
